Partnered
Frequently Asked Questions
About Partnered
What is Partnered?
Partnered is a private, values-driven introduction platform for men and women who value devotion, family, legacy and intentional partnership.
It brings together men who embody the masculine role of protector and provider with women who desire to nurture, create a home, raise children and live in their feminine. No swipes, no games — just thoughtful introductions aligned with your values.
Who is Partnered for?
Partnered isn’t for everyone, and that’s intentional. It’s for men and women who are clear in their values and ready to build something lasting: a family, a home, a legacy.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter a consensual relationship, and using Partnered in your personal capacity.
How does it work?
- Choose your path — tell us whether you’re a man seeking a devoted homemaker or a woman seeking a committed provider.
- Share your intentions — answer deeper questions about what you value in love, family and legacy.
- Receive introductions — we suggest members whose values and intentions align with yours.
- Connect with purpose — chat and begin something real with someone who shares your vision of life, love and home.
Where can I use Partnered?
Partnered is available on the website at partnered.me and in the Partnered app for iOS and Android. You sign in with the same mobile number on both.
Introductions, Nudges & Chats
How do introductions work?
Each week we suggest members whose values, intentions and lifestyle align with yours. These are your introductions.
- If you’re interested, accept the introduction. If not, decline it.
- A chat opens only once you have both accepted.
- Declining introductions that aren’t right for you makes room for new ones to come through.
Who can start a conversation?
On Partnered, men start the conversation, in keeping with the natural polarity between masculine and feminine that Partnered is built on.
- Men reach out with a connection request that includes their own opening message.
- Women can’t send the first message. Instead, you can let a man know you’re interested by sending him a nudge.
How do nudges work?
A nudge is how a woman tells a man she’d like to hear from him.
- Find a man you’re interested in, for example in the Explore tab, and tap Nudge.
- He receives your nudge in his Nudges tab and a notification letting him know.
- If he’s interested, he accepts. A chat opens and he sends the first message.
While you wait for his reply, your nudge stays in your Sent list and uses one of your 6 conversation spots. If you change your mind, you can withdraw it at any time to free that spot.
If he declines, you won’t be able to nudge him again for six months.
I’ve received a nudge. What should I do?
A nudge means she’s interested and would like you to reach out. Open your Nudges tab to see her profile.
- Interested? Accept the nudge. A chat opens, and it’s over to you to send the first message.
- Not for you? Decline it. This frees the space and lets her move on.
Responding promptly either way is appreciated. A nudge takes courage to send.
How many conversations can I have at once?
You have 6 conversation spots. Partnered is about depth rather than volume, so the limit encourages you to give each connection real attention.
Your spots are shared between:
- open chats, whether they came from an introduction or from Explore
- connection requests and nudges you’ve sent that are still waiting for a reply
When all 6 are in use, you can’t send new requests or nudges, or start new chats, until you free one up.
If you and someone else accept each other while either of you is full, the match isn’t lost. It’s saved, and the chat opens automatically as soon as a spot is free for both of you.
How do I free up a spot for someone new?
If your spots are full, or a connection isn’t going anywhere, you can make room:
- End a chat that has run its course. Ended chats move to Past Chats and no longer use a spot.
- Withdraw a request or nudge you’ve sent that hasn’t been answered.
- Decline introductions, requests and nudges you’re not interested in, rather than leaving them waiting. This also lets new introductions reach you.
Letting go of connections that aren’t right is kind to both of you, and it keeps space open for the person who is.
What happens when I decline someone?
The introduction, request or nudge is removed and no longer takes up any space.
If you decline a connection request or a nudge, that person can’t send you another one for six months. If you want to stop someone contacting you altogether, use Block. If they’ve done something that breaks our Community Guidelines, please Report them as well.
The Home Tab
What is the Home tab?
The Home tab is where the app opens. It lets you browse members yourself, alongside the introductions we send you each week in the Matches tab.
You can narrow the list with filters, including:
- Location: near your city, in your state, in your country, globally or in a specific country
- Age
- Values and lifestyle: for example faith, children, marriage history, smoking and willingness to relocate
- Interests and personality: for example hobbies, music, books and social style
When you find someone you’re drawn to, men can send a connection request with an opening message, and women can send a nudge.
Should I search beyond my area?
We’d encourage it. Partnered is a global community, and the right person may not live nearby.
Every woman on Partnered is asked whether she’s prepared to relocate for the right partner: within her country, internationally, or both. Many are, so borders are often less of a barrier than you might expect.
- The Home tab shows members globally unless you choose a narrower location.
- If you narrow your search to your city or state and see only a few people, try widening it to your country or globally.
- Men can use the Relocation filter to show only women who are willing to move from interstate, from overseas, or either.
- Your weekly introductions take location into account, but they aren’t limited to your local area either.
Why is my Home list empty or short?
Usually your filters are narrower than the community in your area. Try:
- setting location to your country or globally
- widening your age range
- clearing filters that aren’t essential to you
The Home tab also leaves out people you’ve already been introduced to, are already chatting with or have already reached out to, anyone either of you has declined in the last six months, members you’ve blocked, and members who aren’t currently open to new connections.
Membership & Billing
What does a membership include?
Every membership includes:
- Access to a global network of members aligned with the Partnered ethos
- Up to 3 tailored introductions each week, based on your lifestyle, values, personality and interests
- Up to 6 conversations at a time
You can also browse members yourself in the Explore tab, with filters for location, age, values and lifestyle.
How much does it cost?
There is a membership for men and a membership for women, each billed monthly in US dollars. Current prices are shown when you sign up, before you pay anything.
Does my membership renew automatically?
Yes. Memberships renew automatically each billing period and are charged to the card you joined with, until you cancel.
How do I cancel my membership?
Log in at partnered.me, open your dashboard and go to Subscription, then choose cancel.
Your membership stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are final, except where a refund is required by law. If you’re in Australia, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. See our End User Agreement for details.
Membership gives you access to Partnered’s features; it can’t guarantee a particular number of responses or a relationship outcome.
How are payments processed?
Card payments are handled by our secure payment provider. Partnered never stores your full card details.
Account & Login
How do I log in?
Enter your mobile number and we’ll text you a one-time code. There’s no password to remember.
I didn’t receive my login code. What should I do?
- Check that you selected the right country and entered your number without a repeated country code.
- Wait a minute before requesting a new code. Codes can take a moment to arrive.
- Make sure you’re using the mobile number you joined with.
Still stuck? Contact us and we’ll help you get back in.
How do I update my profile and photos?
Log in and open your dashboard. From there you can edit your profile, manage your photo and video gallery, and update your match preferences.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Partnered app, from your dashboard on partnered.me, or by emailing info@partnered.me.
When you delete your account, you’re logged out of all devices, your profile is hidden straight away, and your membership is cancelled so you won’t be charged again.
Your account then stays in a pending-deletion state for 60 days, during which it can’t be reactivated, before your data is permanently deleted. Our Privacy Policy explains what’s kept and why.
Safety & Privacy
Why do you ask for a selfie?
We use a quick selfie to confirm every member is 18 or over and to help keep Partnered safe. The verification selfie never appears on your public profile.
Do you run background checks on members?
No. Partnered verifies age, but does not run criminal background checks or verify identity, income, wealth or marital status. Please use your own judgement and follow our Dating Safe Advice.
How do I report someone?
Use the report option in the Partnered app, or email info@partnered.me. Reports are reviewed confidentially.
Please report harassment, fake profiles, requests for money and anything else that breaks our Community Guidelines. If you ever feel unsafe, contact your local emergency services first.
What isn’t allowed on Partnered?
Partnered is strictly for genuine connection. Asking for money, gifts or investments; sugar dating or any transactional arrangement; promoting businesses or schemes; harassment; and fake or misleading profiles are all prohibited and can lead to permanent removal. See the full Community Guidelines.
How should I meet someone for the first time?
- Meet in a public place and arrange your own transport.
- Tell someone you trust where you’ll be.
- Keep conversation on Partnered until you’ve built trust, and don’t share your home address, workplace or details about children early on.
- Never send money to someone you haven’t built trust with.
